Position: Sound Designer
For this show, I was responsible for aligning my designs with those of the other design teams, finding sounds relevant to the time period, and using those sounds to enhance the show. My focus for this was audience immersion; I wanted to make the audience feel as if they were experiencing the same emotions as the actors. This show required me to perform many vocal recordings and edit them to fit the script's requirements and my design goals.
Speaker Plot
This is a plot of all the speakers used for this show that I made in Vectorworks. The way that the set was designed allowed me to strategically place monitors on the stage for more accurate aural positioning. The on-stage monitors were placed behind the gramophone, for all of the musical pieces, behind the door, for all of the ambient SFX, and a monitor behind the fireplace for panning and SFX recordings.
